G'day vegemite, it's Elder Cook in the flesh! So it's been a really eventful week this week with a lot of things happening, but from the start, last week P-Day we went bowling with the Winfields, so that was pretty cool. Man, I cannot talk enough about how much I LOVE them! That same day we also played some kind of Australian game that I can't think of the name of, but basically everyone sits in a circle around a plate with a block of chocolate on it and everyone rolls a single dice that gets passed around. When you roll a six, you put on a hat and scarf as fast as you can and then eat the chocolate a block at a time with a fork and knife until somebody else rolls a six. It's pretty hard to explain over email, so I guess I'll just have to show you when I get home this time next year.
Winfield P-Day, Hangout!

This week has been filled with a lot of door knocking, teaching, and service: basically a perfect blend of everything. We went to go help this guy we met last week cut down his tree in his front yard, and even though at first he said in no way could we get him to church, he said he was "very impressed with us" and is thinking on coming to church sometime in the next few weeks, and when we heard that we were pretty stoked. He really likes us and wants to take us on a day tour of surrounding sightseeing places, so maybe we can get permission from leaders to do that on a P-Day. That'd be awesome! But we're going to go sometime this week to help him remove the stump from the ground, so that'll be pretty fun!

It's been REALLY rainy on and off these past few days, with one moment looking like a nice sunny day and then literally an hour later the clouds about to tear us apart with torrents of rain. It's crazy over here in Victoria. Tracting in the rain is always fun, and for my year mark I'm using my second pair of nice shiny new church shoes that I brought out with me but haven't used yet, so now I can retire my old-as ones that are full of holes and in no way protect my feet from puddles of water.

Helping Ross out in his back yard
Saturday was awesome, and basically the whole day we went out tracting and then in the early afternoon we went to go help Ross Gilbert out with renovating his house because he's going to be moving overseas in the next few weeks. It'll be sad to know that he'll be gone because he's been such a huge help to us in the missionary work, but it was great to help him out. He's the man.

Manoa is still keen for baptism on the 21 of May, and Ian is still working hard to get his hours done for his own. Ian has had a problem with pain prescription abuse, but as of Thursday he said that he isn't going to even fill another prescription because he needs to get completely away from it, and that was a decision he made on his own! And he's still going good with it all and is still coming to church every week. Ozzi and Rawry are coming every week because their severely inactive dad is making them play footie every other week on Sunday, but they still come every week, which is better than nothing. But this week we've got a lot of teaching return appointments, so it'll be a good week. I'm still SO stoked to know that Elder Holt is my companion, and sometime this transfer we are planning on doing the eleven hour challenge: No lunch break, no dinner break, just from 10:00AM straight to 9:00PM all day tracting, and nothing but. We are preparing ourselves for it physically every day, and we are ready to take it by the horns. It'll be GREAT!!!! Elder Holt is a fired up GUN for the work, and we are working our rears off over here and it's awesome!

This week, just to mention, I have been studying the Isaiah chapters of the Book of Mormon. I've always feared them, but with the help of study guides and the spirit I have truly learned the greatness of this prophet. Great are the words of Isaiah. Oh, and also, for all of those who have written me letters at any point in my mission, thank you so much for those! I love, keep, and cherish each and every one that I have gotten, so thank you very much.  Thank you everybody, I love you alls, and as always, God be with you till we meet again.

The Australian form of Clue. It is literally the SAME thing, just with the pronunciation of doe at the end. Don't ask me why

Finally figured out how to get the heater to work
